Made it up here late, like 6pm, so was treated to some wonderful light. I'm at 12,100 feet here. The view here is awesome in person, this picture doesn't even tell the half of it unfortunately. The scale of the scene is hard to convey, the mountains at the other end of the basin are 7 miles away. Here is the scene in Google Maps.
