I just have one quick question. How is the featured image chosen? It always seems to be the "big names" on caedes that have featured images. Can anyone prove me wrong or does anyone have any ideas why this may be?

I think I made the program to pick the featured images randomly from the top 10 percent of all images on the site (top 10% by c-index). I think the big name members are more likely to have their images picked because they just have more images in the top 10%.
