This is actually a bug in firefox as far as I am concerned. When you type an ampersan , some text, and a semi-colon in HTML it is supposed to print an HTML escape character, however it seems to do it even if you don't type the semi-colon at the end. I will probably work around this by replacing all ampersans in URL with semi-colons.
if one were to receive a URL to a caedes image in an email .. the address looks correct as printed on the page .. but once clicked, adds a "bit of fluff" in the address bar (using firefox)
at the very least have it appear as (link) ...
an unadulterated caedes image address, interpreted by firefox, ends up garbled at the .. infopage& .. part
