Censorship............

I had thought we live in a time when art is given the privilege of exposing internal states that are not always "pretty" or pleasant". Twice I have seen a work by sjwbuzzgoose that have been sanctioned and removed...on what grounds? I find his work to be exceptional and rare.....such talent opiught to be held up high as examples of truly fine art. Some have deemed it "inappropriate" or "offensive".Are people evaluating on what is according to their parochial standards? Many times in history, an art work has been banned-as have books-always based on they may offend someone's sensibilities.I would ask what constitutes their sense?! We supposedly live in Free countries-though there are some who are fom third-world countries-so I would expect tolerance despite disagreement and not a shameful, " I think that is just gross " mentality...What will be next tossed out? Think about that and you may see that your work is vulnerable too. I may not like your work; I would not ban it. (the exception would be pedophilia or explicitly pornographic works since this is a family-oriented site. Anyone familiar with classical painting? Some were, in their time, thought to be worthy of censure-specifically those showing women being raped or people being tortured....Fortunately, wisdom prevailed and the works remain to present masterpieces. This fact alone ought to give those claiming that the above author's work is offensive, great pause.

The two sjwbuzzgoose's uploads were mixed from different other images and are cleary against the CoC:
"Only upload images which you have full intellectual property or fair use rights to or which are in the public domain".
Freedom has some limits...
