Murphy's Law

Ever used Murphy's Law (ML) to your advantage? Let's here about it...

I used ML yesterday to my advantage. I called a coworker (who wasn't there) and left a message. Then went to the washroom, thinking that they are going to call back when I'm gone. I get back to my desk and they had called and left a message!

So....

My fellow Caedesians what, when, where, how have you used ML and stuck it to Murphy?

Back in the day ...

Would light a cigarette while waiting for the bus to go to school, whatever.

Yep ... it came every time, once that cigarette was lit.

Whenever my computer lags up, I'll be sitting ooking at it for 5 minutes. Then I'll go off for a couple of seconds to get a little something out of the snack cupboard (I say a little something...) and when I get back it's all happy again. Hoorah!

I'm but a ghost, I fade in and out of reality, forever on my endless journey to the fiery pits of hell.

Every time I water the lawn, the 100 year drought we are having here breaks... actually I have figured out that all I really need to do is drag out the hose reel etc, that's enough to fool them stoopid clouds into letting loose.

*puts on thinking cap ... fresh from the dry cleaners*

Wash your car and a bird poops on it?

Wait ... not a desirable result.

*checks hat*

Ooooh ok ... forgot to remove the pins. :o|

My parents didnt put the studded tires on the car so we couldent get back to wenatchee in our car (which was pretty lame b/c the hill was at a 10 degree incline) - the car did have pretty bald tires and needed to be replaced.

Anyways, that caused me to miss school on monday. :) :)

Touche.

Salut.

Bonjour.

Ok ... I'm done with that part.

Now then ...

Look in the 'last place' you would think of when trying to locate an object.

*reaches into toilet bowl ... fishes out keys*

Just as I suspected ... :oP
