I like this technique.. it makes a not-so-good pic actually look a bit decent.. lol.. it's now my bestest friend.. lol..

Its helpful for self conscience models too, smooths out any wrinkles/pimples/freckles without completely removing them.

Apparently I came up with this technique myself while playing around in Photoshop years ago. It felt like cheating though.
