Aspect Ratio?

Would it be possible to somehow indicate the aspect ratio of the photos under the resolution? I notice that some photos have several different ratios. Which is the correct one or were the smaller resolutions generated to keep the correct aspect of the original? For wallpaper use, I really only want a shot that matches the ratio of my screen.

the reduced sizes should be the same aspect ratio as each other and you can select what style of image to view in the galleries themselves

"For wallpaper use, I really only want a shot that matches the ratio of my screen."

In the drop down box next to the "sort by" one, select "my screen shape".

I believe I have calculated the reduced sizes and they are not exactly the same as the largest. How are the reduced sizes calculated from the original?

Also the "My Screen Shape" is not always correct. I have a 1.6 ratio and if I use "my screen shape" it will show me 1.5 stuff. I just verified this. How about a search for 1.6 ratio?

There is some fuzziness introduced in the calculations involving image aspect ratio because if you required the ratio to be exactly 1.6 your are likely to find very few images. In practicallity, any deviation from your screen's ratio by +-10% is not going to be easily apparent, and therefore we stretch the image slightly for you so that it will fit on your screen.
