How about for a new/updated feature the ability to Sort or search by just an Images resolution. it'd be much easier for those that want just 1600x1200 images, etc..

you already can - sort of - by sorting by your screen shape and you should then be offered the closed resolution to your own.

most posters get pestered into submitting larger images once they've been here a bit .. even if they didn't happen to hit 1600x1200 EXACTLY .. by limiting yourself to an exact dimension you might miss out on some quality imagery

my 17 inch monitor will only attain 1280x1024 .. but I tend to collect images at 1600x1200 .. and larger if it makes sense .. windows will scale it for me, or I can resize, crop, sharpen, etc and get a customized result (if I need to)

someday you will have a monitor as big as your wall .. good to be prepared

I do the same as surfer dude up there, I collect images regardless of size & let Windows earn it's keep. He's also very right about limiting yourself dimension wise.

with the rampant streak of ripping that's been going on, I'd guess alot of members will shy away from larger-resolution images, so as to limit, if not altogether prevent profiteering by some lowlife stealing images, and passing them off as their own.

And some of us try to ignore it altogether...

Personally, I like to have images 1920x1440 or larger...
