even if you put a watermark on the bottom right of the image they will still be ripped... mine as well as other members have signatures on images and it doesnt seem to matter to people..

Thats what mine is.. people don't care, I have had images ripped and the ripper has stated that it is their work.. but the images still had my signature on it..
if one assumes that they will be ripped .. and they will .. for myspace themes, sold as mousepads, shirts, etc ..
our best bet would be to track the items back to the Caedes.net member who DL'd them ... and send them to Banheim
if we can infuse each image with its caedes.net database number AND member name of the Downloader into the EXIF data (for example) .. it would go along way towards tracking these people
we just put a message out on the internets to delete your caedes collections and re-download them ...
New and Improved caedes images .. NOW with more filling - same great taste
Nice thought but the EXIF data gets stripped many different ways. Canon allows you to insert your name or whatever into the EXIF data right out of the camera but most of or all of it is stripped in post processing, Windows Vista, or uploading. It would be nice to keep it in tact but doesn't seem to work. One thought would be to put an EXIF in the picture description that can be clicked on to view the data...if there is any. I just post some of the data with my description...most or all of it is stripped from the pic.
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

Maybe a text-box that appears when you click an check-box labled "Add watermark to image"
The water-mark could be placed in the bottom-right of the image with a standard font.
(I know you can do this in image-editing programs)
Also, it would be nice if this was to happen, to allow watermarks to be added to images already uploaded.
