You're likely to find an appreciation for your artsy angles, but probably not from a lot of the mainstream because they can be a bit dizzying to the average eye, particularly if you are thinking of submitting images here as desktop wallpapers. I particularly liked the perspective point of your piano shot, but I think I would like it more if the keys were simply horizontal, but shooting from the same angle. Hope you'll keep experimenting with the camera, looks like you have a lot of creativity~

the best way to get your photos critiqued is to submit them :)

You learn to see by practice. It's just like playing tennis, you get better the more you play. The more you look around at things, the more you see. The more you photograph, the more you realize what can be photographed and what can't be photographed. You just have to keep doing it. -Eliot Porter

agree with sam, I noticed you still have not submitted yet, you will get lots of feedback if you submit, not everyone reads the discussion. you should submit your piano piece, I enjoyed it. BTW I think this discussion belongs in offtopic, is there anyway to move it?

Actually it belongs in the "Desktop Wallpaper, Art, etc." discussion.
I will get it moved. :c)

The work of art may have a moral effect, but to demand moral purpose from an artist is to make him ruin his work. (Johann Wolfgang von Goethe - 1832)

Love the piano one. The light silhouettes and shadding and also black and white does so much for an image. In the second one the light looks like its falling. I have a few ideas how you did that but still makes you wonder. The picture is a bit dizzing but still nice to look at. Really like how all your pictures have the feeling of movement. All of your angles are excellent. Keep at it you have a great eye for the potential of a picture.
