I am a total new to this and don't know the proper terminology, but why is all of the artwork and backgrounds on this site to 1.333 resolution and none are of 1.6? (and feel free to put it in the correct terminology)

there are many different aspect ratios here already. people are free to upload any size they like as long as it is 3000 pixels or less at its longest edge.
