Kristof, this has been discussed in the past, and suggested by a few members, including noahnott, and myself. at one point, I proposed a filter for viewing (like what exists now for image shapes/sizes) and *caedes seemed to indicate he thought it was a good idea. Unfortunately.... it never got anywhere. who knows? maybe this time it'll have a better chance. good luck :o)

Please, even if you don't visit my gallery, check out my "Faves".I've left them intact since day "1", and would like it if every image there got the attention they deserved.

The problem with a B&W gallery should be the same (but bigger) than with the people gallery. In this one, some members are uploading 'my nephew' or my grand mother'... :-/
The first idea with the people gallery was to upload typical portraits, or ethnic, or attitude works, not family souvenirs.

The B&W needs specific settings and needs to 'think B&W' before to take the photo. Not when you are editing with PS. We should see a lot of 'B&Wted' images in that gallery.

I went into the perms and looked for good B&Ws. The proportion of B&W are the most important in the portraits (people) and in the architecture galleries. Not sure that the members would like to see their images moved in a specific B&W gallery though...

I would love to see my images in a specific B&W gallery....I shoot a lot of B&W (a small number are 'B&Wted' I must admit, but oh well, I like to play around in PS!!) I'm a huge fan of B&W, but I know a lot of people on here aren't, so I understand any reservations with a specific B&W gallery.

We should have one for a craze that's going on called OOB ( out of bouberies) though the technique is old, it's fun to work with. I just did my first one today and I'm hooked already.
