For some reason my photos saved on my SD card in two separate folders.
Perhaps because I changed the battery mid-shoot?
Anyway when I uploaded them I only uploaded one folder. I always move them rather than copy from camera and was puzzled as to why there were still images on camera and thinking there had been a glitch deleted them all before realizing had not moved them all !
Oh No!! Lots of groans, foot stamping, and bad language.
Then I remembered the "Restoration" prog that I had successfully undeleted files with a couple of times on my h/d. Was delighted to be able to completely restore all my >200 deleted photos on the SD card.

Three (3)...I back ALL my stuff, even the outta focus thumbprint shot I didn't mean to take---THREE (3) times before deletion!! PC, External HD and DVD!! I also have a WOLVERINE ...kinda like a ferret in the trousers, just more friendly on the fly!!
Once they are on my h/d I do back up - to second internal drive, external drive, and DVD. They also get backed up again during regular h/d imaging
to a second external drive.
I guess it is wiser to copy from the SD card rather than move them.
I am still unsure why the photos appeared on the card in two folders instead of the usual one.
