Actually we can watch you through your monitors, and we know when you're waiting for a refresh. At a recent meeting of the moderators (in Shangri-La) we decided to implement a "hold" feature by which we can prevent the galleries from updating. It's actually quite fun to watch your expectant little faces as you wait for your images to appear. ^__^
Lol, I knew it had to be that! Actually I wasn't having a dig at the moderators, but once you upload there is always that wait to see it appear, and even when its quick its long, if you see what I mean.

Apologies for snapping, I'm a bit tired this week! Right now I'm struggling to cancel an email account. For some weird reason you can just sign up for a new account or an upgrade then and there, but if you want to cancel an existing account, you have to phone up.
I've been trying to disable a Google account for about a year now. They bombard me with about 250 spam emails each day - no lie. Somehow I got added to a recruiters email group list, and every one on the list sends out emails to everyone else on the list every time they want to hire someone or get a job for a candidate. I have my screening rules set very strictly, but I still get about 100 of them in my Inbox each day. Grrrr... It makes me want to sabotage a user's upload, I tell you :)
Today I was reading (somewhere from some unverified source) that it's cheaper for ISPs not to cancel accounts completely, and so they don't. There's quite a lot of stuff out there about difficulties in cancelling accounts... I have two, and checked the cancellation details on the one I want to keep, and it says I can cancel by email! It's a pity it's not the other way around, but I suppose there's a reason why I want to cancel one and keep the other...
(Keeps Tootly digit off the upload button for a while).
