i was wondering where i could find some good artistic icons (like the ones in the caedes profile). i've tried several but when i tried to upload them an error message appeared stating i couldnt use bitmap (.bmp) images. all the icons i've saved however are .bmp! how can i get around this?

You can convert them to gif or jpg using any image manipulation program which can read/write bmp and/or gif/jpg.

sorry if i'm being dumb, but what are some of those programs?
