I believe permanent doesn’t really mean permanent. I’ve had images like that before as well, it goes to the permanent gallery for some time and later gets archived to make way for newer permanent postings.

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??
Maybe I should clarify. It had to have just gotten made "permanent" within the last couple of days or so. So that means it also got archived in the same period of time.

Guess one of the mods, in a drunken stupor, must have permed the image and once they sobered up discovered their mistake and archived it! :-P (Just kidding BTW!).
