I have noticed that in the past few months that CAEDES.net is slow in response....either a lot of users...more than usual or the website needs an upgrade....anyone to comment on that please feel free to give insight on that....thank you

Steve, the site owner has been making major changes and updates to the site which will contribute to a slowdown.

If I am wrong in this answer, someone will come along shortly and address your problem!

I have also noticed a bit of slowness sometimes, but it is not caused by the caedes server. The server is normally only running at 25% capacity. I think that one of the internet links from the datacenter is causing the slowness that you have noticed. I will be looking into it.

Could you tell me the time of day generally that you are experiencing the site slowness (and your timezone)? We have a daily backup of the site database that could be causing it.

It does not make any difference...anytime...I still think it has to with the website!!!!!!!!

I don't have any trouble with the slowness it works fine for me

I have just come to the conclusion that with no virus program on board & nothing else running in the background that Google Chrome is probably let's see 10 times faster than Internet Explorer 8....that is my finding!!!

I use firefox and have a virus program running as well as other stuff and the pages work fine not slow at all
