In reading some of the comments on this problem...I see people have tried Firefox 3...I will say that Google Chrome is very fast...I think faster than Firefox 3....but the problem with CAEDES is that it is the server that is slowing down....to much traffic on CAEDES anymore without some upgrades...I could be wrong but a couple of years ago dpreview.com was experiencing some of the same proble....that website is huge...they had to adjust some things to make response time quicker...but if anyone has any insight on what's happening please tell us what to do!!!! Thank you

Steve - Yes! I to have experienced times when the site is slow. I have tried various activity to correct the problem, but only one has actually worked. First I tried drumming my fingers on the desk, this was a complete waste of time. I tried to throw push pins into the cork board, this only created a mess. I have some magnets, so I played with them,...no luck just boring fascination. Finally I got wise and purchased a book called "The Great American Pin-ups" WOW! this works great. Now I dont seem to mind the long wait to view this site. One time I even forgot I had the computer on. I cant really say that a book like this provides good reading, in fact I have gone thru the book from cover to cover and never read a word. It sure does help pass the time, especially on those days when it seems like the whole internet is really SLOW! There are some things which I just cant do anything about, like slow internet,....but the long wait...VaVa Voom! I can do something about. I dont suppose my comments have answered your question, but it should let you be aware that you are not the only one experiencing Slow! :)

Your funny in a good way my friend.... management of this website evidently don't see that there is a problem....but what bothers me is that it has just occured in the past 2-3 months...
Patience is a virtue...at least that is what my parents use to say...I used that with my children...I think it works????
