I am uploading at 1600x1200 and my images are cutting off at the very top of every design. Does anyone know what I can do? You can see it on some of my images if you look that close however I do make my borders equal, etc. Should I go back to uploading 1152x864 instead? I am on a Mac. Does this make a difference?

I dunno about that one, I know the software is setup to shrink and stretch, but not crop. Could you point us to an image where this is obvious or show us one in comparison with the original?

The latest. "Jacqueline's Journey" You will see the top two starlights cut off at the right. Also you will see it slightly on my bordered image "Gateway to Long Lost Love-Manip." The top and bottom borders were equal. It's not much. Just about 1/8" or so but noticeable to a discriminate eye.

gotcha, your image is only cropped in the preview, the full image is not cut off. Apperantly the image size for the preview is set to something which isnt exactly the 4x3 ratio for a desktop image. As a result your image is chopped off. Its also cut off (even more) in the thumbnail. But I guess it doesnt matter, since the full size image is still intact. Good eye.

Thanks. As long as the majority see it as not, I'm fine with it and will just continue to do as usual. I have been told there was a discussion on this before but I've yet to find it.

I find that the bottom of my images are all chopped off, but maybe that's a Firefox thing.

No, not just Firefox, the bottom of all my images are cut off, too. Annoying at times, but if I've saved to my HD, the image is intact.

if the bottom of the image is cut off in the full size, this is a browser issue, the full size images are intact. if you were to save the image (with the bottom cut off) to your hard drive or desktop it would be uncropped.
Your images arent being cut up by caedes, just an illusion, I promise.

Yeah, I realised that, but I don't know why it happens. I didn't think that the images were actually being cropped, but it still has the same end effect - namely that people can't view them fully.

very true, it has bothered me, but I dont have that problem in IE, only firefox, but in firefox i believe u can right click the image and choose "show full image" or something like that

I don't appear to have that option.

I looked in Konqueror 3.2 and it does the same thing, but at least it provides scrollbars. Epiphany 1.0.7 seems to work ok. I haven't looked in IE recently - can't get it to run on my system at the moment.
