Sorry for the long delay in wrapping up the holiday contest. I've selected 130 regular members to vote for the winners. Here is the voting page. If you go to that page it will tell you if you are on the list of voting members. Voters were chosen from the list of members who have been online in the last week, who had at least 10 images in their gallery, and whose average of their top 5 image's c-indexes were in the top 130. We'll announce the winners in a week's time.
But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.
Yeah few entries is good in a way, but I found it hard to select the 5. Normally I find I am having to narrow it down from all the great entries and make agonising decisions about which ones to drop. This time I was struggling to find 5 that were worthy. Sorry if that sounds a bit negative, like I said fewer entries is a good thing in many respects.

I enjoyed all the entries and the sharing of traditions. The theme led to a gallery full of warmth and joy. Thanks to all who made the effort at such a busy time of year and good luck.
Done! I had a few favorites right off the bat, but yes many of them were not as stunning as in the past contests I have seen.
I am proud of all of those who I voted for.
Good luck to all.
