I have noticed that now (from today) there is no more different sizes shown for full screen views but that on clicking it shows automatically the correct full size which is good. I also see that notice of subscriptions from friends who have commented on your image is missing and that on my image downloads show a 0 although it has been viewed by some on full screen.. Hope this will be fixed

I found the same problems as Raj did (see above) and also when I tried to upload I got a message that the image was too large despite the fact it met the 3200 pixel guidelines. I did not try a reduced size as I have no idea what might be acceptable for size if things have been changed. I also have had no images from friends today which seem odd unless no one can upload.

I believe there have been some changes made by caedes.

When uploading now you do not immediately see the image but receive a message saying it will be visible publicly when approved and you will be notified when that happens.

I too am missing notifications from friends' images - perhaps that will no longer be possible until the image is approved.

An image I uploaded during the time the changes were taking place (or shortly after) I was asked to re-upload as there had been a problem so perhaps there are a few glitches to iron out.

I uploaded a photo this morning. When it failed to appear I uploaded it, again. Neither have shown up yet. I only want one of them as they are the same shot. I am wondering, however, what happened.

Yes, caedes was on site recently so I believe the changes were made by caedes.

This is all well and good...but the lack of mods!...makes us wait longer for approvals!...there are only one or two that are constantly on here doing that job at present!..

I have seen the same 'New Images' for the past two days now!

As a mod, I am here to tell you there are NO images to be approved. The issue at hand is definitely not due to a lack of mods.

I suspect there might be a glitch somewhere in the system/server and all of us must wait for *caedes to be able to trace it down. Likely not an easy task.

I really like the new format. Very clean.

The server went down for a short time. I know because
I was here when it did. Caedes told me there were some
changes being made.
There have been no new images showing since that time.
As mentioned in my previous post a message appears after
Upload advising it will be visible after approval.
Guess images are stuck somewhere and we will just have to
be patient.

I will make an announcement about the changes that I made right after I'm able to fix the current problem with new uploads. Mimi is correct that it appears the system is not handling newly uploaded images correctly. I hope to have this resolved in the next few hours.

Oh, all right then.
Some few minor things remain though to be settled.
I will keep on bothering everybody I can get hold of until everything is as I like it! LOL
I like the idea of viewing the images, but keep on forgetting and close Caedes altogether without meaning to. Takes time to get used.

Tried to upload again now and received a screen that said "request entity too large" - my image was 3200x2700 - what is the new upload size???

Seems another bug is that I cannot get any notices of who has left a comment on my posts under 'Jobs'!

Just for further information: I uploaded an image about 3 hours ago and since there was a delay in getting the confirmation, I clicked on the upload in the browser history to see if it has been accepted. There was a red marked message there which said something like "your time limit has expired". So I reposted the image and got a confirmation of both postings. Now I deleted one but that has apparently deleted the other upload as well. So now I shall give it a try again.

Might I suggest that those not seeing "Upload Status' beneath "Subscriptions" in their Job List should clear their browser cache then restart the browser.

This still doesn't work for me..My browser is automatically cleaned daily!...and I run Windows 8 & Chrome!

'HELP'!!!

I upload an image and now see no image at all, but all the regular input info spaces/checkboxes in order to create the page...Before the changes, the input spaces wouldn't appear until the image finished doing so, but now I can't tell if it's uploaded or not...Plus, with my last image posted under the new cloud technology changes, I didn't see the image entry into "Subscriptions" even after the prompt told me it was in the "new image" category and people had already commented on it...I think I'll wait a few more days until posting another image...

I posted two images that I think are quite good. They don't appear in subscriptions. They both have lots of looks but NO downloads. They can be found in upload status. This is very strange. I am quite sure they would have had at leas a few downloads.

Just be patient, It's only been 2 days. I'm sure any issues will be worked out before long.

My most recent upload a short time ago appeared in Subscriptions as soon as it received a comment - :) :)

I think that the only thing left now is to show the number of downloads.

Both of my new ones have lots of views ad lots of comments but still haven't appeared in subscriptions. I'm wondering if I should delete them and upload them again when the wrinkles are ironed out.

Jen, looking at your gallery you posted your last new images several days ago. Seeing them in subscriptions only started again today.
I am sure our previous ones are not included.

There are no downloads on any new stuff. I am getting subscriptions. It's too odd to have 60 views and no downloads. Thanks all for helping me understand this whatever it is. jen

A random check of many images in the New Images gallery shows no one as having any downloads.

I am sure *caedes is aware of this & working on it.

I have put this in Feature Bloat/Bug Squash as well. It has just started. Images I was notified of earlier today show correctly.

Friends New Images List

Only the first bit saying "So&so has a new image:" is visible. The links to the images are missing.

Same as happened to Lyn has happened to me. I can't access friends' new images.

And . . new uploads are not 'Going Live' in Upload Status

The upload page now works fine, with immediate image/page creation after the initial upload button is pressed...the same way as it did before the cloud tech changes...After x amount of time, the new image shows up in both my personal gallery as well as the "New Images", just like it did before...The only oddity I now see is no link next to a friend's new submission...I'm sure that will get worked out as well....

I am also getting zero showing in the downloads stat. thought I had fallen from grace, but I can see here I am not the only one experiencing that problem.

I don't mind the lack of size choices, as I stopped doing uniform neo-wallpaper fits, mostly for old CRT's long ago...

After all, this is an art community...disguised as a wallpaper site...
