Have you ever observed something extraordinary and thought: "Wow ... wish I could be there and be able to take a picture that showed [x] or [y] or [z].
Some examples: the core of the sun just prior to a solar burst (impossible to get to - but what a pic that would make; inside the tail of a comet; near the center of the earth, where the magma is the hottest; on a snowflake in a raging storm (what a ride); etc.

After seeing the president’s speech the other night, Bush being impeached.
But seriously, I’ve always wanted to capture fire fighters taking on a building fire or a forest fire.
There have been so many times when I said why oh why I didn’t bring a camera. I was in LA during the Rodney king riots over the acquittals of the police officers. If I only had a camera then!
If I could combine this with a time travel idea;
Whitechappel, September 8 1888. The backyard at 29 Hanbury Street. Let's see if my own theory about who killed Annie Chapman is correct. If not, I've got photoshop
Driers have the ability to create mini-black holes (something to do with spin ratios and atomic forces). Consequently, socks get transported to another dimension and vice versa. You invariably end up with the right number of socks - but the wrong colors. In time, all socks return to their proper dimensions, but never match up, because you have already discarded (what you thought were) orphan socks.

This time of year, each evening, there are so many lightning bugs/fireflies out there that the entire mountain backdrop is full of yellow twinkling lights. How I wish I could share this experience with everyone. If I never move again, that will be the reason why. ;)
They would be a hard subject to capture . Lightning bugs are so cool, that is on the things I mss about florida at night. Unless you ever see them know one would ever understand what you mean. Good choice.
"I wrote your name on a piece of paper but by accident I threw it away...
I wrote your name on my hand but it washed away...
I wrote your name in the
sand but the waves whisked it away....
I wrote your name in my heart and forever it will stay........."
A self portrait - me drinking at the fountain of youth!
But seriously, I think I would like more photos of myself and hubby interacting with our kids when they were little. We have so many of us "posing" but so few that record relationships. I need that time machine!
"A piece of toast with butter always lands butter side down, and a cat always lands on its feet. What happens if a piece of toast is tied butter side down to the back of falling cat? Does it hover above the ground in perpetual indecision?"
