Lens question.

I have a 35mm Canon Rebel, and was wondering if the lenses would be compatible with the Digital Rebel? Or would I need new lenses?

I'm not buying one yet, but if I'm going to get serious about being a wedding photographer, I may have to look into one sooner than I had hoped.

Most lenses should work. I think there is some older ones you could have trouble with, but chances are you should be good to go. I shoot nikon personally, and i know i came a cross a chart some place at nikon.ca that showed comatibility for all of the bodies and lesnes and such for nikon stuff. Im sure if you were to look around at canon's site they would have something similar just to insure that you will be ok, but i think it will be.

No one wanted to pay to say something in my sig, so i will have to try and think of something creative now...

If your Rebel uses the EF lens mount then all your lenses will fit the Digital Rebel OK. The new EFS lenses wont fit your old camera though because they are designed to cover a small sensor.

Thanks! I really shouldn't even be thinking about it yet, but at this point, I'd rather sell my car to buy a digital camera than not have one at all.
