This was taken in South Africa
This was taken in a little harbor in South Africa.
While on Sanibel Island, my husband surprised me with a sunset dolphin cruise. However, once we got on the boat and headed out to open water, the captain informed all of us that a storm was approaching and he was going to try and outrun it. All the way out we were watching these storm clouds gather. The captain assured us that we were safe and werent in any danger. Once we hit open water, so did the storm. Any of you that have seen the opening of Gilligans Island, pretty much knows what we went through. It was very intense and scary. The wind was howling and the waves were crashing over the side of the boat. Everyone onboard was wet and freezing. The captain tried to get us back to the dock, but the ocean was way to rough and the winds too high. He was, however, able to get us into a little cove. He called his boss and they sent a van to pick us all up. No one had to pay for that cruise and we all walked away with pictures like this one and lots of memories.
My husband is from Chicago, so we spent 1 week of our honeymoon there. While showing me around the city,he took me to see Buckingham Fountain. Im so glad he did. It was beautiful.
This is one of my favorites. I had just purchased my new camera and wanted to see what it could do. This was my 2nd picture with the camera. After seeing how it turned out, I was really glad I had bought it.
While on Captiva,I was blessed enough to capture this picture.
This was taken at the Alamo. The weather was horrible that day. Hard down pours and chilly. But it was a perfect day for taking pictures :-).
This was taken at the San Diego zoo. Its not hard to see why pandas are loved all over the world.
This image was shot on Big Bear Mountain in California.
