If 'you' (speaking generally here).. click on "All Contests" (top left of this page, just under "Contest Topic Poll") .. a page will display with all past Contests and Contest Topic Poll discussions.
The point..
There are a number of suggested topics/themes.. that didn't quite make it to the top of the lists in their time.. and are still good good viable contest topics.
So..
Scratching your head?
Not sure what to suggest that might be some fun and challenging?
Peruse the older topic discussions.. as there is some 'gold in them thar hills'.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Hey there Mister Madman, wat'cha know that I don't know Tell me some crazy stories, let me know who runs this show Glassy-eyed and laughing, he turns and walks away Tell me what made you that way
I proposed spring mainly because the number of participants in the last few contests is rather low and a theme like spring is an easy one at this time of the year.
I thought of this while watching something on TV about carnival masks this afternoon.
As a contest topic it might be interesting in the broadest sense of the word, covering:
- masks themselves (some are highly decorative) - anything or anybody masquerading or simply hiding - eclipses - usernames and avatars (your own, perhaps, and what they symbolize about you, or a new avatar that you'd like to design for yourself)
I like mm's 'Motion'... Spring is nice this time of year but I could go out blindfolded and take a picture of it. Perhaps a topic of just one aspect of spring... 'green' or 'returning birds'... And Lyn has a point, it's autumn where she lives.
