bfrank: I'm glad you had enough light to pull this shot off since you were pressed for time Doug. You were standing head on in harms way. Good job and good luck in the contest. That is a beautiful bridge.

4th place
A Snowy Night In Northern Ontario by icedancer

corngrowth: ---As for our weather now it won't be long before this starts happening. Actually out in parts of Alberta they've already gotten 45cms but now is melted---

Pat, you makes me shivering, lol. We had 25 degrees Celsius (77 degrees Fahrenheit), so our beaches were crowded today although there was much moisture (a brooding atmosphere).

Like to say however that you've provided us with a very fine and moody image. A appropriate one for the contest. Wish you Good Luck my good friend.

Regards, Cornelius.

5th place
Ocean Life by Mannie3

Nikoneer: This was the only one I voted for that finished in the top five (and you weren't #5 in my vote) and, considering that I've seen a few of yours that you tell us you hand-held to get the shot, I'm thinking we need to give you the nickname "Bipod" because you're so dang steady, almost as though you used a tripod. At least yours made it into the 5... better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.
