1st place
Chain Bridge by mirto56

0930_23: No need for me to enter this contest now Gibbs.
Compelling shot.
It pulls me in like a lady on the street in Amsterdam back in the 60's.

3rd place
Saginaw Post Office by stylo

Jhihmoac: I've seen this building before...I'm not sure, but I think a famous Midwest architect who was known for this type of Old English-Gothic genre designed it back in the day, along with quite a few other buildings, mostly schools and public institutions...mostly in the Chicago and Detroit Areas... His name however, escapes me @ the moment...

Nice capture...faved...

4th place
A Snowy Night In Northern Ontario by icedancer

Dunstickin: Gorgeous and wintry!..should do good in the contest

GIGIBL: Excellent shot Pat very well captured.

Pistos: I love this! It contains several elements that "say" winter in it, yet is simple and elegant.

stylo: its a great shot skates..but im not looking forward to what we had last year..hope its more milder. then again couldnt have gotten worse..dont answer that & im sorry i typed it now..lol great entry to the contest!

5th place
Ocean Life by Mannie3

nanadoo: Congrats for placing in the Night contest.....a lovely shot!

Nikoneer: This was the only one I voted for that finished in the top five (and you weren't #5 in my vote) and, considering that I've seen a few of yours that you tell us you hand-held to get the shot, I'm thinking we need to give you the nickname "Bipod" because you're so dang steady, almost as though you used a tripod. At least yours made it into the 5... better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.
