2nd place
Cwm Autumn Frost by Akeraios

Vickid: Wow, this is stunning, all the right elements for a superior capture. I only just viewed now, congratulations on a unique work of art.

Nikoneer: Hannah, I saw this as a thumbnail and had to open it, thinking "Now that is unique, catching a frosty fall morning through a paned window", then realizing it was one of your computer illustrations. Most of the time I look at cgi here at Caedes and find textures or shapes within that my eyes cannot help but go immediately to, knowing and feeling it's not real. I know this is cgi because you told us, but my eyes are still wandering, thinking there has to be something here that feels "unreal"... they're still looking for it... still looking... still looking...

Happy Trails

3rd place
Wharnley burn Waterfall by biffobear

tigger3: Excellent! R. this is worth making canvas out of. ...S.

Pistos: Oooh! Beautiful fall scene!

Nikoneer: "Nice" is the understatement of the day, Richie. The dusting of red leaves amongst the green moss makes it look like Christmas, and I can hear the water hitting the rocks and smell the musk of dead leaves. Is this one for the contest? If so, it's a placer for sure. S&F.

4th place
Autumn by Dunstickin

icedancer: Spectacular fall shot & would make a fabulous entry to the new contest - if you do - Good Luck

Nikoneer: Bob, can you hold one of those red leaves up to the monitor so I can tell what kind of tree it's from? As it is, they're too far away and too small to tell. Lot's o' color here, love the red.
