pretty little secluded palce
casechaser: Hi Lynn. It is a beautiful capture. And, the greens really pop.
It is one of those spots where you can lose time and stay way too long. It is those times that I find kī tōnu taku waka topaki i te tuna! lol ~~ John

corngrowth: When talking about history, think this is history, Richie. Very interesting. That ancient small graveyard gives an extra dimension to this already wonderful eyebird's view. Have 'Googled' somewhat and have found HERE and HERE some interesting information.
Wonderful post again!
Regards, Cornelius.
Logun7: Congratulations!!!!
0930_23: Congrats on the 4th place finish Michael. It was a good entry .
TicK
FlimBB: Well deserved. Congratulations.
J_E_F: Did you send this to 'National Geographic'?
I think you should do - a quality image to be sure.
For the competition though, I'd have cropped closer to the huts, as the coke works add an extra element of visual interest that competes with the wonderful green huts.
Flmngseabass: Outstanding image here!! Love the balance and a beautiful contrast with the spider. Super post!!
palral: Congrats, David. Your mind works in wondrous and mysterious ways. Leave it to the other-worldly "zunazet" to present a fabulous spider shot as a winner in the "Green" contest. I can only wait to see your posting in the upcoming spider contest.
