1st place
AEROCRUISER by pastureyes

Marzena: Well, for me this is the very essence of the art deco !!!
Congratulations, dear friend.

Roseman_Stan: Excellent work here! Top notch for sure.

third_eye: Great period piece! Aside from the various factors, such as the "dame" and the "wheels", the shimmering gold background is what really wraps this up nicely. Best of luck in the contest.

Art Deco by rvdb

Logun7: Congratulations!!!!

rvdb: Les thank you for the link and the comment this will be my entry. As for the font I found that really hard some were to skinny to modern etc. so I just went for big and bold thanks again.

3rd place
Empire State by Samatar

stonewolff: Outstanding work. Excellent detail, design, and texture. A very unique render.

Logun7: Congratulations!!!!

LynEve: Congratulations on your 3rd placement.

third_eye: The "stamped/etched metal" feel to this is what I'd started out wanting to create when I began working on my entry. Wound up being something else though, but this style, for me, is the epitome of "art deco", especially in architectural terms. I'm just wondering if a bit more contrast might've given this more "texture"?

4th place
Explore Egypt by mesmerized

Samatar: Yep, definitely captured the essence of the era here. I didn't notice the font until someone else mentioned it, but upon closer inspection perhaps the "explore" part could be in a more appropriate font.

I really wanted to get one of these art deco travel posters to hang in my bathroom (one with the seaplane in it) but in the end I couldn't find a print large enough...

5th place
Ribbon Of Music Around The World by marcaribe

rotcivski: Looks like Art Deco to me. Very well created. I like it.

allisontaylor: I do like it Diane! A fun colorful photo full of energy. I enjoy the perspective as well. I too would like to know where.

Ramad: Looks neat Diane - I like especially the long keyboard.
