Newton Upper Falls, MA is where this falls is located - near my childhood home. My first memory of the falls is being wheeled there and being afraid of falling in, and the noise it made. So for me it was a "terror". This is probably why I have such an interest in waterfalls. I hope you enjoy this view :)

It's very intersting Carolyn. It looks like you used some kind of treatment on the photo or is it my imagination. The composition is great with very nice colors and lighting. Thanks for sharing it.

No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However, a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

It's a terrific photo hunny!....I can well understand the fear that these can give you.....the noises alone are sometimes terrifying!.....The image is well composed and has a lot to keep the eye busy...there seems to be a little grain there!....But it kinda adds to this!....
Nice one my dear!

I lived very near a falls like this as a child and my parents always feared that I would wander off straight towards them as I was inquisitive and apt to leave their side to investigate something new. I was really impressed with the sound the falling water made and I can see why you have an interest in them now. This is definitely a New England town pictured and I love your post treatment of the image.
