I took this pic in Warwick NY in October of 2006. Reguardless of it's growth, Warwick has managed to keep it's small town feel and hasn't forgotten it's long history for modern trendyness. It was a very nice place to live. In the Fall Warwick comes alive. Apple picking, all the local Farms start selling homemade Apple pies, donunts, hay rides. And of course the giant "Applefest" Festival. You can't find a parking spot for miles.

Hi Michael..First I'd like to say welcome to caedes...it's nice to have you aboard...It's wonderful when there are still towns that keep that feeling, that's for sure. I live in the countryside and when I've been "in town" it feels so hectic there. I like this shot of yours..with the cornfields in front, then the colours of Autumn and then that pretty bloo(blue) sky! Very nicely put together. We have tons of apples here in ORegon too, but an Applefest sounds like a ton of fun. And you live in Arizona now? what a difference eh?But there is a lot of beauty there too..Thank you for your posting...keep it up, tons of things to take shots of in Az. Verena

Life is so often made up of a little of what we do see--and a great deal of what we do not.

Not quite fall enough perhaps. I find the colours rather subdued in this one and I think they could have been brought out more for impact, or perhaps the corn is just a little bland. Good composition of the shot.

Its a great photo, but it seems it should have a sharper kind of color. Brighter in the trees. Its a wonderful scene!
