Lovely fractal, bright and colourful! I recognized it... I remember your wallpaper 'Storms of Life'.
The jewel is a spot too dark on my monitor, and needs more 'tones' and gloss, but the 'embedded' effect is unusual, as though the background is a bed of soft yarn cushioning the orb.
