My dog...He died last year, a week before my birthday. He was 12 years old....He didn't die of natural causes;Axel (this was his name) died because he had cancer and the vets told us that he was too old to be saved.....I was very sad when he died, because i had him since I was 8 years old.....Even if I have now almost every kind of pet one can have in an apartment,I still don't think anyone will thake Axel's place....But I love all my pets very much!!!! :)

So sorry for your loss...a fine tribute to a beautiful dog...the effects you've added seem to memorialize him/her as one with the wind and forces of nature now.

A loving memory for you to cherish, Alexandra . This is a wonderful capture of your dog, with super effects. It looks similiar to an ink portrait. Love those black spindly trees, and your dog looks so much like the old tv "Lassie". You did a superb work on this image and it's a saver :)

I know what its like to loose someone close to you like that. Its a beautiful photo... I like the soft touches. It makes it look as if its part of a nice daydream about him.

Y, sry for u're loss, i had the same experience with my buggie a day before last Christmass & i still cherish the shots i took of him. Bout this shot, well it's great... the angle & the B&W add some dramatism to the shot & the filters are a nice bonus. Hope u"ll keep this (along with u're memories) close :P

Take care, Paul

Beauty is no quality in things themselves. It exists merely in the mind which contemplates them, and each mind perceives a different beauty.

Great work with this picture! It really captures that moment in time with the balck and white colors and the effects put on the picture iteself. Great Job. Sorry about the loss behind it though.

I sure know the feeling of losing a pet, they are part of the family. Sorry about your beautiful collie, but your capture is a wonderful memory indeed.
