Many trees have been cut and their roots have been removed by large machines. There is a field of stones where the trees once stood. I took this picture at a place where a reservoir is soon to be built. What fascinated me was the fact that there is still life in this wasteland, even though man has done it's best to remove everything alive.

Well, things like this happen, and will always happen. You can't really stop it. Great capture also, the lighting is very good, nice work.

Hey there...you are so right...the earth is an amazing place. I know when Mt StHelens erupted up here in Washington, not far from me..thru all that ash and devastation...the little trees and grasses came up again...You took a nice picture...almost a necessary picture, it makes one realize that there is always something new to look forward to. Thank you for the contrast in your photo, you did this real well.

Good use of your light to accentuate the object of your image...the grass growing. I like the contrast of the new vegatation versus the old debris. The sky is an added bonus. Good use of the rule of thirds. Thanks :~)
