Why is this church on this intersection so significant in US history, the street sign is a good clue.

Steve, it is the Baptist Church in Montgomery, Alabama where, in its basement, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., planned the Montgomery Bus boycott. The street sign was a great clue, by the way! ~~ John
