This is a picture I took in Northern California. It's either Mackerricker State Park or Agot (Not sure if I spelled that right) beach. We visited several places that day. Anyway, I messed with the contrast and brightness, and fooled around with the color levels, then I added the green strip, so it would fill up the background, and so people could write a saying beside it if they wanted too. I hope it actually uploads this time. Hope y'all like it.

The emotions, the tears, of wasted years, wash over me like a cold wind out of the north. I tremble and shake, with each breath i take, and there's no one around me that cares. Dwight.

Yeah, this is a few hours away from the redwoods, but we visited there too. The redwoods and the northern californian coast used to be a favorite vacation spot for my family. Lots and lots of good memories there. When I took that picture, the sun was just in the sky on the other side of the path, and it was an overcast, cloudy day,(Like almost all days around there are). The light turned out just right. Thank y'all for your comments. : - ]

Makes me wonder whats on the other end of the path with such a bright light coming from it. Appears to be a very peaceful trail with the lure at the end I need to go out west oneday. Good job!

Yes Yes Yes! Oh it is so beautiful. The Sierra Mountain area, near Nevada and Oregon, Fort Bragg (A Small Town In California, right on the coast), MacKerricker State Park, The Redwoods! Oh goodness, the redwoods! The biggest trees you ever did see, you feel like a gnome or a Lilliputian. Green is the dominant color everywhere you look, the sun gently dancing down through the occasional break in the vaulted ceiling of limbs!

Can you tell I'm homesick? Living on the plains for a while will do that to you. : - ] God bless, and thanks for the comments!

I like this, although I have some personal suggestion. The path is too much centered on the screen. With the green bar to the left it makes that side of the screen look really side heavy. I tend to look at the left side of the screen first so I really don't see the picture.

Hi,

I love the moss and the ferns. I think both of these plants are extremely interesting. I love the way the path curves around. I feel that the green strip along the side is overpowering. Maybe if it was black or if you pulled a darker green from the shadows in the photo it might help.

Yeah, I've been thinking about changing that myself. Black may be nice, but with how bright the picture is, it may be just as overpowering as the bright green. I'll mess with it and see what I can do.

A fabulous place you caught well. Wonderful textures and greens. A little soft I think. Thank you.

Absolutely gorgeous image, I'd love to take a walk through those wonderful greens myself but I guess having this on my desktop is the next best thing:)

The subtle details and green colours of this botanical tunnel are marvellous, and the curve of the path acts very well to draw the eye on. I do think the strong sunlight at the far end of the tunnel could do with toning down a little so that it's not quite so fierce. I would also agree with earlier comments that the green bar to the left of the shot doesn't work as well as one might have wished. I'd suggest white with just the faintest hint of green instead. That way it wouldn't detract from the beauty and colours of the plants and would also serve to show up any text very clearly. Overall this is a fine photo with some promising artistic prowess.

I much appreciate all the comments I receive about my images, but please excuse me if I don't always reply. My interest in Caedes is exceeding my time available!

hi, this photo draws you into it and you wonder what is at the end of the path.
I like the idea that the green strip gives you a chance to put a quote. very smart.

Very nice composition and lighting! This shot gives a sense of depth that works very nicely with the environment. For your photographs, I would personally recommend creating for yourself a watermark or trademark that you put into your photos, rather than the stripe. I can see how you think that people would use it to write on, but it seems to detract from the photo overall. Of course, that is just personal preference and in no way does it reflect the opinion of the masses. You would have to ask them. :) ......just be ready to run....the masses seem to love trampling people.... ;)
