Between Sky and Earth is a wonderful image but I prefer this one for the levels at work and the off centering of the trees. The contrast between the light are dark cloud bands also peaks the interest in this image. And there is still just enough light to make out the details in the foreground but not enough to be distracted from the trees and sky:-) Very creative editing Lucy...I love it!
wow this is impressive - incredible!
i dont know what else to see im just blown over by how amazing this is
top marks and in my favourites excellent work Lucy
I give the miniature 10/10, this one a 9, it's a little bit grainy here and there.. maybe soften it up a bit (a standard gaussian blur for the spooky image effect)? It's very, very nice though..
snof : thanks. Actually there's already a gaussian blur^^. lol
I took the shot when I was in a car, so yes it's a little bit grainy. there's also the fact that the sky came from another of my shots, I just blend it with this one^^
That's funny Lucy, I didn't even notice that the light on the trees was from the opposite direction of the light in the sky until you said that. No wonder this is so cool and unusual looking to my eyes. You've blended together the best of both worlds, so to speak. Nice work :)

Realizing that you have many comments already, I am a bit reluctant to add mine. However, I downloaded your photo and have it set as my desktop wallpaper. It is absolutely my favorite. I love the color, the "feel" of the photo. It's strong, powerful, yet exudes aloneness and comfort. It is both ominous and peaceful at the same time, and somehow very calming.
