I like it. Has a somewhat dark, industrial feel brought about by the rust color scheme and the grid overlay. Interesting how you blurred the head, thus keeping the starburst effect from the chest area out of it...
Was the figure a sketch you imported?
Gabe : yes, its one of my drawing, just scanned it and played with it (with Photoshop and Painter) it was just black and white at first.
Tom : I'm in my 'grid period' ! lol. I used it here, mainly to give the character more focus and more depht to the pic. I have four or five version of this one and without the grid it just seem empty, and with something else it's too heavy... a grid was a good compromise^^.
this is really cool. it's kinda hardcore but thats a good thing. i like that you didnt use so many different colors, it makes it simple yet the technique is just amazing.
It's kind of strange....but I like it. It must have been difficult. It seems like it would take a great deal of control to produce something so foggy, and clean...if that makes any sense at all *ahem*. You did a good job.
