I thought that the subject looked curious and that that's what her eyes really displayed, so I decided to take a shot! Any comments are very welcome!

It is a very good portrait. The black and white makes it very stunning. Wonderful contrast, also. Good post! :)

Hey Kalie,
Very nice portrait, I love the use of B&W in here, it suits your subject perfectly, (~8
Inspiring eyes, in my opinion, the key to great 'face' portraits,
One thing that I think could be improved is that hard line that separates her chin from her neck,
As far as I can see, it is created by shadows, so by reflecting the light coming from above, you could easily eliminate those shadows and have a more appealing portrait, (~8
As a reflector, a white paper will do,
Apart from that, congrats on a wonderful image, and a lovely model, 8~)
Nicely done,

Thanks for sharing

I'm with Tim, I think this is a really good portrait. I particularly like the way you've defied convention and cut the face into the frame. It makes for something different and really emphasises her skin tone.

Superb B&W shot. You have caught the minute detail on the subjects face wonderfully. Her eyes have a rare beauty that you have captured well.

Great shot. It makes me feel like she is awaiting my answer to one of life's difficult questions. Very well done capture of her expression.
