Found this little stream running through Bayeux in north-central France. We watched a bat hunt it's dinner here for a long time.

What a terrific shot ! Love the lighting & all the hard angles in this, just softened up by the hint of green vegetation. Nicely done !

This is a really nice post. If I didn't see the metal signs, I would've guessed it was from some old movie about Charlemagne that I've seen

Stress_it is not far off, the lighting, angle and concentrated color of the shot suggest a movie still in that it seems a perfectly scripted photo. Well done!

Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory of the climb. - Churchill

I have lost count on how many times I have visited this image of yours. It is extremely compelling visually. So, now ... a few words.

The almost perfect still water and reflection does a number on my visual senses. Hmm ... maybe one of the reasons I find this shot so intriguing and surreal.

The colours and time of day for your capture further adds to the visual intrigue. You succeeded very well in conveying a mood and feel with this one. Great work.
