I shot this off a beach in Maui a few years ago. In the top left we have Spica, the brightest star in Virgo, then Jupiter, Venus, the Moon, and finally, the Sun. Although you can't actually see the sun, it's tucked itself away behind the island of Lanai, and the horizon. Look at it full screen to appreciate it. Comments/Critiques always welcome :)

Nice shot. A little grainy. It's awesome you got the planets in there. Good amount of foreground, not too much, not to little. Very nice pic.

What I really enjoy about this photo is the color fading in the sky. From pitch dark to deep blues blending into light blues blending into pinks and oranges on the horizon. Yeah, it's a little grainy, but I don't think that detracts from the image at all, if anything it adds a little something to it. Great capture, thanks for sharing!

the range of colors is really well captured. yes, it's a little noisy, and no that doesn't make it a 'bad shot',but it detracts a bit from the sense of 'being there'. personally, i think you should be grateful you were at maui and call it even (kidding)
