A well spotted shot. Slight blurring but the colours and form are excellent.

I like this so much, and I also like the fact that you always give us your camera info. I actually do learn a lot from reading that...and that you focused this in yourself is a testament to either your great eyesight, or your eye doctor!
Great clarity.

We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"

Thanks for your comments, everyone! I'm glad you've all enjoyed this, I like it a lot as well :)
You know, now that I've looked at this more, I see I really should have either used a tripod or a faster shutter speed. 1/15s is a bit too slow for a completely crisp result when shooting handheld. I can see the slight blurring especially around the main stalk area. Luckily the palm is in my front yard..easy enough for a reshoot when the lighting is right! :) Thanks again everyone!

Rebecca, this is beautiful. The light and the radiating lines work together very well. I also like the richness of the greens and yellows. The crap at the center of the fan is a bit ugly, and th efocus is a bit off, (though I think you've addressed that) but other than that the image is superb. This image's c-index does not do it justice.
