Awesome shot, Sir!!! This is turning out to be my day for finding perfect wallpapers, thanks for posting one of them. 10/10 all the way on this. (Hadn't thought about nasturtiums in years...my father used to call them "nasty urchins"...hehehe)

Well done, Mathew! The black BG enhances the lush yellow and reds of the flower. Kudos!

Thanks very much guys.

After placing it on the black background I played around for ages with various filters and settings before finally deciding to leave it as nature intended. As you say, Tracy, lovely colours and I just couldn't improve on them.

I took the photo last summer in my back garden but the original background was very cluttered. I prefer it this way.

Great isolation from the background Matt! The edges would look better if they were softened a couple of pixels! The black really makes the color jump of the screen...good job:-)

Thanks, Darryl. You think I should blur them a little?

Ever so gently around the outline of the flower with the blur tool. Just to soften the outline of the flower against the BG.:-) Not the whole fower if that is possible Matt. Maybe try the effect with a screen? Or, leave it as is, becuase it still looks very nice this way:-)

Whoa. Man, this is great. I absolutely agree with everyone, and you should've been more recognized...the colors are wonderful! Nice shot.

Love the bachground and the pedals are awesome. Never seen a flower captured with such sharpness and focus. These are beautiful and will grace my desktop for sure.
