A piece of English Four-In-One butted maille. Armour, especially maille, is a bit of a hobby with me. I made this piece over the course of a couple hours. Enjoy!

Did you make this yourself?! If so... then WOW!!!

I like the serenity of this pic. You can clearly see how everything is linked togheter. And there's a beautiful play between the light and dark.

Great piece of work!

Well, you know what your profession would have been, if you were born in the 18th century :) Great job and a good shot to prove it!

I have always found it amazing the patience one needs to be able to do that type of work. Very nice shot.

Nice handiwork, but the photo seems more like a documentation of your neat craftsmanship then a piece of art. Having looked on your other work some, I believe you could make a shot of this subject in a much more interesting way. For starters it's more or less all in focus... Good if you want to document, bad if you want it interesting. Ditto on the composition / shooting angle and the lighting. Being shot in some other angle and more varied lighting (or perhaps even a "commercial product shot lighting" (or how to put it) as with your candy-shot) plus other placing of the subject would do the trick. Combined with a suitable amount (short end of, naturally ^_^) DOF and you could have something going here. ;) Ok. Perhaps I'm harsh in this comment. Not meant that way though. On the other hand. I left such raving critique on some of the other ones. You set the standard yourself. ;)
