I love calligraphy and a pen like this..all broken into the writer's style...is a treasure that can't be on loan..thanks for jogging my memory and the upload is perfect.

"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon

Very beautiful shot! Great composition of all the things a poet needs.
Now maybe it's because I'm a woman, but seeing that paper lying there... makes me wonder what it is that you wrote. LOL
Thanks for sharing this beauty.

I believe this is the piece of yours that I like the most. It's a lot of things that draws attention but the main subjects in the focal plane of the photo are in balance with the all of therest in a very dynamic way. I wouldn't mind hanging this piece on my wall instead of just tucking it away nicely on my computer. I think that what makes this piece for me (besides the perfect lighting and nice color-hues, that is...) is the wonderful composition, underlined by the perfectly used short DOF plane of focussing. Many times I find that what makes a piece really interesting is the play between the different components of the background of the shot. This is a perfect example of that.

In short: It's more or less perfect. :)

Even shorter: Kudos!

This is an exceptional picture. Your closeup and clarity is outstanding, love the angle at which this was taken. Such great focus and I lean towards the background just as much. Wonderful work! Good for you...
