This was the first bloom for this plant. The first always seems the best.

Very nice. I had never managed to keep a mimosa alive long enough to see a bloom.

MJC- Remember.. Smokey ATE my original one in Oregon. Now I'm where they grow native, I'm not having any trouble with it. It's January and it bloomed again a couple days ago.

Very lovely shot of nature at it's best. The natural colors in the shot are so soothing and beautiful. I really enjoying looking at this one and it will make a great desktop. Thanks for sharing!

Quite a pretty sight. Your shots are so clear and natural looking. May I ask what camera you have?

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Another favourite, I love mimosa pudica, the way the leaves close up like that. I had one of these as a house-plant and it lasted nearly a year before getting too spindly and losing all its sensitive leaves. Well done, great shot!
