Live fish pictures can be very difficult to do. Water blurs subjects and then the subject won't hold still. Blur is my worst enemy. Keep in mind, this fish is almost a foot long in my 55 gallon tank. :-) This was taken through the glass with good lighting. The only thing I did to the shot was use clone brush to add stone to the inside of the cave. There's a hole there which shows the power outlet behind the tank.

Wo this is impressive, and I can understand why this is so difficult to take. Do you take these photo's through the glass or in the water?

Very nice shot of this fish, I'm guessing it's a placostemus(?), very clear. If it is one,. reminds me of one I use to have, Paco, he had the most beautiful set of fins I had seen on these creatures. :o)

I've seen the actual tank & I can't tell exactly where "cloning" was used to hide the hole so the outlet wouldn't show. Good job.

GREAT shot! my mother-in-law has a big "sucker fish" (as I call them) in her tank too- he's about 7 inches long, and he gives me the willies whenever he comes out of his cave. They remind me of eels or snake-like creatures. *shudders* excellent shot, great clarity!
