Still life what all I could think of when I looked at this. Taken a few winters ago, we had a bad icestorm that made us a disaster area for almost a month. No one had electricity for two weeks. If you've looked at my album, you see this same windmill in a sunset shot. What a difference.

Now that's alot of ice & I know icestorms can do alot of damage to both nature & man-made objects. Nice close-up of the windmill with great textures & detail. Wish it was in a bigger size as it would make a 'cool' desktop. Thanks for sharing ... I enjoyed this one & like it alot.

I like it very much. A stunning visual. Excellent details. Grey skies really enhance the mood. Might be fun to capture the scene in different times of year as a contrast perspective.

Great shot. Another windmill for me to look at. And nice backdrop of frozen trees in the background. Not so good to be there of course at the time.

Very cool - the lighting on the ice that covers everything. As Gabi stated, not the place to want to be with those conditions.

A perfect summer day is when the sun is shining, the breeze is blowing, the birds are singing, and the lawn mower is broken. - James Dent
