Taken a couple of weeks ago along the west coast between SanFran & L.A., The weather did not cooperate too much so I had lean pickings. But my wife did get a pic similar to one I took. I have posted both so you can compare a Canon SD950 IS with a Canon G2. I find the pics better on the 950 but I must say that I am blown away by the quality of the video (and sound) the 950 takes. If you have/had any questions re. the new Canon... this might help answer some. :o) but :o( I had to reduce the size to fit the 3000 limitations here... from 4000x3000 to 3000x2250! The 950 is a 12.1 M. :o)

Ha! Beat you all! My wife got the alignment better than did I. The water-line is horizontal... and I forgot to straighten it out in my shot before posting. Ah well! Such is life! :o)

this is a good one and i did not see that the line was off in the other one. so i did go look and yes your right about that. I like the way the butterfly stands out better in the other post but i think this is a better quality. I think so -

Looking at them side by side, I'd say that the color quality is better in this one.

Marvellous shot, now sporting pride of place on my PC. Tremendous perspective achieved in your image and I love all those butterflies you've captured in the bush. Were they actually there when you took the photo or have you computer-generated them? Great work!

Never... Never would I computer generate anything into a picture of mine! Not just because I am against it but mostly because I couldn't do it. Just like everything else in life... if you don't have an interest in doing something, you aren't going to learn how to do it (not well at least!)

Dad gum...with a point and shoot? All the money I have spent on cameras and lenses and yours walks away with the prize. Amazing. KEEP-PAH!
