And..


I can't shake the idea/creative suggestion ... of a Black & White conversion. As B & W purportedly reduces whatever image to it's 'bare' essentials. Forms, shapes, et al.


Caveats.

To my eyes and.. ahem ... failing monitor (caveat on my part here, maybe) ... seems a lil' 'flat'. Perhaps, an overall Curves and/or Levels adjustment is just what the Image Editor doctor would prescribe.

That said..

I did try a b&w but figured if somebody really wants it that way, it is easy enough for them to mod it... my eyes/head really prefer the colour version!  :o)

I need that blue sky and that reddish brown!  :o)

I think this is a very nice shot. Good focus and textures as well as an excellent entry for the current contest. Good luck should you decide to enter it. Nice work here .

Great contest entry, Con...I like the angle and textures...I might have been tempted to crop a tad on the left so all you see is this building and not the unfinished one in the frame but otherwise a super shot...good luck.

Quite like the novel idea, with respect to the current contest topic and.. photographic execution.

Save that of 'squaring up' the peekaboo stuff with respect to the overall framing/composition, if I can be bold.

Either/or.. are worthy contenders in my opinion.
